My children got a new scratch block.  Boss cat (Ruby) has claimed it as her own, and poor Bella is not allowed near it!  How does one teach kitties (and children) to share??

Our new year's day tradition of walking at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens endures - I started this tradition in 2008.  It was wonderfully cool and quiet as Lynn, Richard, Connor, Leonie and I strolled through the beautiful gardens, and then had a leisurely breakfast under the trees.  Conversation was around goalsetting and plans for 2012
